Notes: The sleeves were definitely the hardest part of this costume. It took me forever to get all of the gold pieces of vinyl cut out and glued onto the black vinyl. Creating the staff wasn't really difficult, but it took a lot of time. The staff head is not made of wood- it's made of various types of foam and clay, so it's super light but still quite durable! 

I hand dyed the yellow portions of my tights - I originally wanted them to be more of a green color, but for some reason they just kept coming out looking yellow, so I gave up! The base shape of the hat was made with Craft Foam aka 
"Foamie" and wire, then covered with fabric. I also really love how the shoes came out- I originally thought they would come out looking like those wooden German clog things! They were originally an old pair of work shoes that I cleaned up and covered permanently with fabric and stuffing.
